The Program Came in on Tuesday! I was so excited, I had to go ahead and do it.
Mistake.
Here's the deal. This is TOM week for me. (Time of Month).... Every single time I get so sick. Cramps, Nausea, etc. I was already feeling like crap when I got home from work, but I saw that T25 came in and I just HAD HAD HAD to do it. So, I did what any eager person would do: I slipped into some workout clothes, popped that Alpha Cardio disc into the PSP, and got to working.
About 5 minutes in, I had to sit down from the nausea. I drank two glasses of water, waited for the nausea to subside, and then hopped back to it.
After 15 minutes, I pressed pause and ran to the bathroom where I proceeded to puke my guts up. Ha! Learned my lesson.
I finished the video and vowed never to do that to myself again.
Moving on...
On Wednesday, I was well again, and tried out Alpha Speed 1.0. AMAZING! That was so hard, but it was the perfect mix of hard work and stretch pauses. Basically, Shaun works your body for a couple minutes, and then you stretch for a good minute. Hard Body work a couple minutes, then back to the stretching for a solid minute. I love it because you never get to the point of pressing stop b/c you know that stretch is coming, and you get just the right amount of time to catch your breath and get back to it! LOVE!
Woke up this morning feeling like I couldn't move! YIKES! I did NOT want to press play. Shaun T, you really expect me to press play a third day in a row when my whole body is aching with pain? Is this your master plan? To wear my body completely out?
Pressed Play on the Alpha Total Body Circuit Disc. Umm... that title is not messing around. When Shaun T. says Total Body Circuit, he MEANS IT! Those spider pushups will be the death of me!
Honestly, this far in, I love the program. I know I said I wasn't going to start til the 15th, but I'm already 3 days in, so I think I will keep going. My challenge group is still starting on the 15th, though, and I welcome anyone, I mean ANYONE who wants to join me to do it! Loving it! Let's change our bodies!
