Bulletproof Coffee Review

After weeks of reading about it (and judging it, no doubt!) I finally gave into the trend....

Everything that I read about Bulletproof coffee tells me to mix 2 T Ghee and 1 - 2 T Coconut Oil with the coffee.... Well, I don't put a lot of cream in my coffee to begin with, so I cut the mixture in half, sort of.... 1 T Ghee and 2 t Coconut Oil.

And the result....

NOT BAD!  It really just tastes creamy w/ a hint of coconut in the flavor. I love coconut, so it works out.

Now, to find out the full day result.  Stay tuned!

Don't be a VICTIM of CIRCUMSTANCE

So, this weekend, I picked up two fabulous books.

Starting Project BADASS this week, and what better way to get that underway than to include Andrea Owen's "52 ways to live a Kick-Ass Life" to my daily routine.

I don't want to forget to let you know that I live O, so close to the BEACH (and we have a pool in our neighborhood) and of course I NEEDED a good book to pass the time in the SUNSHINE.  Chelsea Handler, it's been WAY too long since you released a new book. Thank you for FINALLY giving me something good to read!

So it's probably time I got to the point of this post.

DON'T BE A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE

We have all had CIRCUMSTANCES in our lives that affect us.  Sure, something awful happened to you.  I'm sorry, but it's time to move past it.

Wow, Sara, you're super insensitive.

No, I'm not. I'm just being real.  We can't let the circumstances rule our lives.  How we react to circumstances and our THOUGHTS determine our FEELINGS and BELIEFS about ourselves, and I hate to point this out, but those FEELINGS and BELIEFS are what shape our lives.

My current CIRCUMSTANCE:  I'm overweight.  Now, I can sit here and wallow in the fact that I'm overweight all day long, but that's not doing me any bit of good.  I can think about the fact that I'm overweight and say "It's just HARD to eat clean and be healthy, and workout like I should.  It's HARD to make time for all of that."   How soon do you think I'm going to lose the weight I want to get rid of? Probably not very soon thinking like that.

OR

I could think "You know, I'm overweight. That sucks.  I'm going to change it.  I'm going to join this challenge group, and plan out my meals, and do these workouts, and be happy about it.  I'm going to set a date to meet a goal, and I'm going to work towards that."

Which THOUGHTS do you think are going to get me to my goals quicker?  The thoughts that eating clean, working out, and meeting goals are HARD, or the thoughts that I'm going to set goals with dates, plan meals and workouts, and I'm going to CHANGE my CIRCUMSTANCES?  If you agree with option B, You're right.

We BELIEVE our THOUGHTS, and those BELIEFS shape our lives.  This is why it's so important to think POSITIVELY.  Kick those Negative Thoughts to the curb!

It takes Positive thinking to get things done.  Do you know someone successful?  Do you think it was EASY for them to succeed?

Oh, it was? It was easy for them?

I'm sorry, but you're mistaken.  Ask them.  It has NEVER been easy to succeed at something.  There will always be obstacles, and it will always take a lot of positive thinking and a lot of Trial and Error to succeed.  It all starts with your THOUGHTS and BELIEFS about yourself.

So, what is your CIRCUMSTANCE?  What's the goal you're working towards hitting?  What are the obstacles in your path? Are you thinking POSITIVELY or NEGATIVELY?  Think about it.

I love hearing from you guys.  Let me know what you think about my posts?

XOXO,
Sara

Looking for Jams

You guys remember my playlist from last month, right?  If not, here's another look at it.

After a month straight of working out to the SAME TRACKS, it's getting a little worn out.  So I'm in the market for some NEW JAMS!

Help me out with that February Playlist by sending me your top workout jams?  I've got a couple songs from January that aren't quite worn out just yet... Work B*tch is just FANTASTIC, am I right?

It's time to rotate in some new jams, though.  Help a sista out and send me your tracks!

XOXO,
Sara

Just a thought...

If you know me, you know I am down for a good deal. Those watches I posted yesterday? I probably wouldn't be buying one, but THEY'RE ON SALE!

Here they are again, if you've forgotten them. HA!  I STILL NEED INPUT!

This girl LOVES finding a bargain, but some things I just won't compromise. Quality and integrity outweigh the lower cost of a similar product.

1. Ketchup - I don't care what they say. The off brand doesn't taste the same, and without salt is just crazy. I want Heinz, or nothing at all.

2. Apple every single thing - I am willing to pay for reliability, and I can not afford viruses. (or the headache of overpaying Geek Squad for not really fixing anything.)

3. Toothpaste - Nothing does it for me like Aquafresh Extreme Whitening. I get TONS of compliments on my teeth, and I will defend Aquafresh until the day I die!

4. Beachbody - I may be slightly biased here but after a year as BOTH a customer and coach I don’t have one negative thing to say! I could go on and on, but you guys don't really care so I’ll just say that it is what keeps me the upbeat person you all love!

If you're depressed, you need serotonin. This is your SOLUTION.

I buy Publix generic, because they rock my world! I LOVE TJ Maxx and Marshall’s. I save where I can so I can splurge on the necessities, ESPECIALLY when it comes to my health!!

I'm thrilled to tell you that I SPLURGED on the 21 DAY FIX. And, for right now, if you purchase Shakeology, you get the 21 DAY FIX for $10!

What is your SPLURGE??

Not sure what the 21 day fix is?  NO PROBLEM!  CLICK HERE!

I love hearing from you guys! Please comment below or message me!

XOXO,
Sara

Which Watch?

I'm in serious need of a new watch!  Ok, maybe I'm not in serious need, but I found these babies on the interwebs, and they're ON SALE!  I can't help myself, I want one!

So, if it were up to you, which watch would you choose?  Which one of these babies should I be sporting on my wrist?  It's almost short-sleeves weather, so I'm going to NEED some ARM CANDY!

These things are THE BOMB! (Do people still say that?)  Comment below which one you would choose!

I love hearing from you guys! Message me!

CLEAN Egg in the Hole Waffles

When I was a kid, I had this Children's Cook Book that was full of easy recipes for kids to make.  I remember it because it was mainly breakfast foods with eggs, and the front picture was a piece of toast with a fried egg down the center. EGG IN THE HOLE.

Now, I loved egg in the hole, but I didn't really take full advantage of this delicious breakfast recipe until college.  It's quick, easy, and delicious, DUH. Why not eat it every single morning???

I've got a new one for you, though.  It takes Egg in the Hole to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL.  This baby is delish!
Ingredients:
2 Van's All Natural Organic Waffles
2 Large Eggs
1 T EVOO
1 cup Blueberries

Pull the center out of the two waffles, and cook in the skillet like you would Egg in the hole.  Don't know how?  NO PROBLEM!  Put your waffles down, and drop an egg down the center of each one.  Be careful not to break the yolk!  Flip your waffles once the egg seems to be nice and friend on one side.                                                                                         In the mean time, heat the blueberries in the microwave until the juices release, about a minute or so.  These will act as a delicious topping for your waffles, so no need for Maple Syrup!                                                                                       Fry your waffles on each side, transfer to your plate, top with blueberries, and ENJOY!                                                               Don't like a runny yolk? No problem, just break that yolk while frying.  OR, remove it ahead of time. :)
Please let me know if you liked this recipe!

Say Yes IF....

Do you always immediately say YES to anything someone asks you to do? I have fallen victim to this TIME AND TIME AGAIN, and my stuff (My goals, My Priorities, My Thesis) have fallen behind because I'm too busy running around doing all these extra things I don't HAVE to do.

Learn to say Let me Check and I’ll get back to you.
This little sentence gives you enough time to process the task.
Is it in line with your priorities with your goals?
Why do you want to help?
Is it because it feels good?
Is it because it’s the right thing to do?

OR is it because simply you’re afraid to let another person down, and you want their approval?

That’s absolutely the WRONG REASON to help someone out. Do NOT help someone because you want something back. Do NOT do things for others because you’re EXPECTING something in return.

Only do something for other people if it feels GOOD, you have the TIME, and it doesn’t compromise YOUR PRIORITIES.

Chalene Johnson is such a smart woman. I’m doing her 30 day Challenge to master organization this month, and I’m glad I’m doing it. 2014 is the year for organization, so I can achieve the things I want to in my life and things won’t pile up on me. LESS STRESS!

Too Blessed To Be Stressed.
